I went to the local Kroger store in Houston this morning. It was more crowded than normal and they were sold out of toilet paper, dried beans, most of the canned tuna and bottled water. There are lines stretching around the local costco stores. There is going to be a big run on all the grocery stores soon. Luckily the dollar store still has plenty of toilet paper, for now.

I hope the stock market recovers only because sooo many have their retirements tied to it.... But honestly don't believe it's a 100% honest game.

Really don't get the TP thing. Wife stocked up on it, I don't get it. If worse comes to worse that's one of the last things I'm worried about.
Might have an itchy ass but you're still gonna live.

This isn't high science... It's something people ( that have families) throw in the basket! They have a life other than sports and forums... Don't study it!

I have a 3+ month supply of freeze dried food for a family of 6 in my basement. I have a feeling I might be cracking those boxes open soon. I went to the store today, plenty of meat and shelves were full but I live in a small town in Western Virginia and fortunately I am surrounded by dairy farms, turkey farms and hundreds of acres of corn fields in case things get biblical.

You said that 3 weeks ago in the poli forum back when no one knew what this was. Props for not having your head in the sand.

Dunno if it gets that bad but the news out of Ohio is alarming.

This is my thinking - toilet paper isn't an essential item

Supermarkets will always stay open and the government will allow deliveries. They are not going to starve out the country. This supermarket panic is a bit ridiculous. I did stock up on toilet paper and have around 150 16 ounce bottles of water. Do people think they are going to turn off the water processing plants so you can't get tap water. If this insanity continues the government will have to go to food ration books like they did in WWII. Hoarders are causing the issues now. It's like during a snowstorm prediction in the Winter. 7 inches of snow results in idiots buying groceries for 10 days when they might only be shut in their house for one day.

People are f'kd in the head. Just think. We live with these people amongst us. They get to vote and decide our representation who write our laws. It's no wonder some of us consider Trump our only chance at a sane society.

I sneezed on the Subway today.

Several Chinese people looked at me in horror and got the hell away from me.
Lol
